Does anyone know a good linux program to compose your own trance or techno music ?
I tried hydrogen to experiment with and it can do some nice stuff, but it's not enough to compose a fully satisfying technosong. |

rezound and ardour are just audio editors (and fine ones at that), but not really made to create audio. House/trance isn't really my area of expertice, but last i checked, this area is somewhat lacking software wise. Check out linux-sound.org, it's one of the best sources out there. Go to the sound sythesis sub heading and just check out some of the apps. I think there is a roland juno emulator (or something like that... like i said, i don't know a lot about that area =). best of luck. |
