Hi there i have partial sucessfully installed gentoo on a Compaq Proliant 3000, but when i type grub then root(hd0,0)

It give-me error no disk found:

I am installing gentoo with gentoo livecd 2004.3

Does any one know what a hac i am doing rong ...

is your device. there, the partition table is stored.

Code:
/dev/ida/c0d0p*
are the partitions, they don't contain a partition table!

SOLVED ... MBR was damage, i have fix it :) Gentoo is working like a charme
