Hi there i have partial sucessfully installed gentoo on a Compaq Proliant 3000, but when i type grub then root(hd0,0)
It give-me error no disk found:

is your device. there, the partition table is stored.
are the partitions, they don't contain a partition table!

SOLVED ... MBR was damage, i have fix it  Gentoo is working like a charme
