So I've been getting more and more requests from my users to have SOMETHING for a group calendar. That's easy, I've got egroupware up and running internally and everyone in here can sign up for it and use it.
Problems.
1) They don't
2) I can't make it an externally visible server (long story, suffice it to say I only have so much power here)
SO I need to find yet another solution (grrrr, and egroupware is such a good sol'n too!!!!) I'm thinking about cobbling together something based on Sunbird (for PC and Linux users) and Mac's iCal program. They both can publish a person's calendar to a WebDAV server (easy to setup).
Here's my question, we've got like 10 people who will be using this. I do NOT want to have to go to each and every person's computer and have to tell it how to read every other person's calendar. So the question then is, how can I publish people's calendar to a server, but allow people to be able to do things like meeting requests, and see people's free/busy time easily WITHOUT my having to something like O(n^2) configurations
perhaps I'm looking at something that isn't a good solution for this? If people have a better idea please share =)
Regards,
