Hello all,
I finally was able to successfully install Xfce4 on xorg 6.7.0, but now I'm having some strange issues with it.
1) I can't change focus. Whatever window was opened last is permanently in focus. Unless xfce uses some other scheme besides clicking on a background window to focus it...
2) There are no minimize, maximize, close, etc buttons on the windows
3) I can't move windows _________________ Michael Koehmstedt

Could you perhaps post a link to a screenshot so that we know exactly what your issues are. |

Just occured to me. xfwm has not started. How do you normally get your desktop up and running (startx or startxfce4 etc.). If there is a terminal on the screen type xfwm4 and see what happens. |

Yes, that was the problem. Thanks!
It was already emerged before though (had to re-emerge it for it to work). I wonder why it did not work the first time around?
Now if I could only get firefox to stop freezing... _________________ Michael Koehmstedt
