Xfce4 issues

Hello all,

I finally was able to successfully install Xfce4 on xorg 6.7.0, but now I'm having some strange issues with it.

1) I can't change focus. Whatever window was opened last is permanently in focus. Unless xfce uses some other scheme besides clicking on a background window to focus it...

2) There are no minimize, maximize, close, etc buttons on the windows

3) I can't move windows

Could you perhaps post a link to a screenshot so that we know exactly what your issues are.

Just occured to me. xfwm has not started. How do you normally get your desktop up and running (startx or startxfce4 etc.). If there is a terminal on the screen type xfwm4 and see what happens.

It was already emerged before though (had to re-emerge it for it to work). I wonder why it did not work the first time around?

Now if I could only get firefox to stop freezing...
