Hello,
if I want to find something about speciffic version of some software (for example find phrase "gentoo-dev-sources AND 2.6.9"), it doesn't work But if I remember, sometime in the past it had worked!
This is very bad "feature", searching for posts reffering to some exact version of software is very important for me. I don't understand why something so simple as search is so badly implemented. Or am I blind and there is some search feature I have missed? If not, can you please implement it? _________________ o Athlon-XP 2600+ (512kB cache), 512MB DDR400 RAM, GeForce FX-5600 128MB

As you have already spotted, the phpBB forum's search function is a pathetic piece of crap. The forum mods resist modding the software (which is a sensible thing to do, what with increased maintenance effort and so forth), so you'll have to complain to the phpBB people about this. |

Please browse other "search" related threads in Gentoo Forums Feedback for this, and other complaints about the search feature. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
