I have had my secondary comp with a 3dLabs Oxygen card in it runnign linux flawlessly now for a year. Then I decided to install xscreensaver. When I came home from work xscreensaver had crashed and left my X in a fairly messed up state. So I rebooted and found that X still did not behave. Colours were wrong, and so on.
It appears that if I disable accelleration in my Xorg.conf things start working again, but I wonder what might have happened. I reemerged Xorg to ensure there was no file corruption.
Any hints?
