EDIT: i'm using the current ebuild, quake3-defrag 1.91.

I'm guessing you should just be able to do....

Is that all there is to it???

When I do the above, I seem to get plain old quake3, no new maps or anything.

Figured it out.... the ebuild puts everything in /opt/quake3/defrag/defrag191
but I think it should all go in /opt/quake3/defrag.

EDIT: the ebuild author, Mike Frysinger wrote me that the proper fix is to
edit the ebuild so that MOD_NAME=defrag191

I tried that and it seems to work fine!

My original workaround which gets the game working, but leaves you unable to unmerge,
is like this:

sudo mv defrag191/* .
