Hallo zusammen,
Mein gensplash läuft nicht auf 1280x768. Er bootet richtig, jedoch ist die Anzeige völlig zerrissen.
Ich habe ein neues theme gemacht (newtheme) und die bilder auf 1280x768 angepasst.
dann noch das initrd image gemacht

woran kann es liegen?

| meinst du nicht 1280x1024? 1280x768 hoert sich etwas merkwuerdig an.. oder ist das ein laptop? |

bin da nicht so auf dem laufenden, aber auf laptops gibts heutzutage schon merkwuerdige aufloesungen.
allerdings hoere ich von 1280x768 heute zum ersten mal..
//edit: google spuckt bei dieser aufloesung tatsaechlich was aus.. TFT monitore.

joo, ist mir jetzt auch klar. nur ob damit ueberhaupt ein splashscreen moeglich ist.. 
ich wuesste nichtmals ob meine grafikkarte das ueberhaupt kann. |

jo diese Auflösung gibt es wirklich auf meinem notebook  mein x server läuft auch auf 1280x768

man kann nichts erkennen. das fenster ist auf einer grösse von 640*480 und es ist voller bunten farben
splash_geninitramfs hat keine fehlermeldung gebracht. Ich checke gleich nochmals die config nach ob ich da nicht noch ein fehler gemacht habe...

was mir gerade noch so einfällt: hast du den "VESA default mode" im kernel auf dieselbe auflösung gesetzt? wer weiß, vielleicht liegt es ja daran...

Hallo zusammen,
Möchte nochmals auf diesen Post zurückgreifen. Gibt es hier schon lösungen?
xorg läuft mit der auflösung 1280x768. Dies habe ich min einem Patch gelöst. Jedoch läuft der bootsplash nicht.
Wenn ich kein bootsplash habe, dass zeigt es mir die konsole auf 1024x768 an. jedoch sobald ich einen bootsplash installiere, kann ich nach dem starten die konsolen nicht mehr benützen, weil dann alles so verschommen ist
