Hi there

Has anyone ever used an ASUS A620 (WinCE PDA) and SynCE (and got it to work)?

When I start synce-serial-start, it says it is waiting for a connection - but ActiveSync on the PDA says that there was an error connecting...

dccm is started as regular user, while synce-serial-start is started as root...

Thanks for any hints
thomas

ive seen this a couple times with my axim. all you need to do is start dccm as a normal user before running synce-serial-start

Code:

dccm
su
synce-serial-start

good luck and i hope my easy fix is the right one for you

Running dccm as root works. Su and run synce-serial-start and then i have to go back to normal user to run any commands for the pda.
