Seit einiger Zeit hab ich kein autorepeat mehr, und zwar nur auf der Console, nicht in X.
Genaugenommen ist autorepeat an, nur schnarchend langsam, etwa 2-3 repeats pro Sekunde.
Jetzt weiß ich zwar, wo autorepeat für X eingestellt wird (xorg.conf, bzw. gnome wobei
in letzterem Fall die repeat Einstellungen von xorg ignoriert werden), nicht aber für die
Linux Console. Ich hab übrigens auch schon versucht, das autorepeat im Bios wieder zu
aktivieren, hat aber nichts genutzt.
Die Frage lautet also:
Wo lässt sich das Timing für autorepeat (nur Console) einstellen? |

There's still a little stupid problem there: from where to invoke the line above?
I've tried /etc/rc.local and, though it seems to work (at first, a boot line shows
'Typematic Rate set to 30.3 cps (delay = 250 ms)': nothing, neither for root nor user.
I also wonder why there shouldn't be some defaults around. Something like this must
have exist, since I never had to change the kbdrate setting until recently.
So, where's the kbdrate usually set?
Btw, kbdrate is set to chmod 755 and root. But executing kbdrate as user gives me Code: |
Kann /dev/port nicht oeffnen.: Keine Berechtigung

means something like Code: |
Cannot open /dev/port: no permission
|
Why? |
