This isn't a multimedia issue, more a key issue, so I thought I'd post here.
I use mondo rescue a lot, and I think this it is causing the problem, but I'm not sure.
After a recent restore, my multimedia keys stopped working. I found a post regarding htis before, but after hours of googling, and searching the gentoo forums, I can't seem to find it again. I remember the post saying that I needed to reissue a command, and everything worked fine after I did it last time. I am running a Dell I8500.
Thanks All!

What app are you using to utilize the multimedia keys? xbindkeys? khotkeys? Something else? _________________ The free market gave me gonorrhea. |

**FIXED**
For some reason the mixer wasn't associating right... I had to open the gnome-volume-control as root to get the mixer to associate right. After this the multimedia buttons started working correctly. I need to write this down for the next time I use MondoRescue!
Thanks for the help! |
