Stage 1 or stage 2 or stage 3 depending how much do you want to compile. (i recommend stage 3 but it's only my opinion;p)

Yes, either x86 or i686.

It was a question about architecture or a stage to choose?=)
Celeron 533MHz is an i686...

It really really depends on the exact model of celeron. I've seen (i've got one) which i can compile with "-penitum3" cflag, while others haven't got all the instructions of pentium3 and you HAVE TO compile with "i686" cflag.

You can try with penitum3 cflag, but if it fails in some packages, i recommend you trying i686.

Bye!

About the stage, i also think stage 3 is the best idea in most cases.

THanks for all the replies!

I think my celeron fits in the i686 architecture

Thanks again!
