Hi,
When using Windows with MSN, while chatting, I was able to see in the status bar when the other person was typing. Now this is not possible to see both with Kopete and Gaim. Is there a setting I am not aware of or is it just this way?
It is useful to see when the other party is typing because I could just pause and wait for what is arriving.

there's a setting...you might have to hunt for it. It's kind of odd as it's worked for me on default settings for MSN in gaim (been a few versions since I've used kopete so I can't say for sure there if it's changed or whatnot). I've switched to amsn at the moment as I like it a little better than gaim (even though it's only MSN and not the other protocols  ).

Hi and thank you for your reply.
I will look for this setting. I have installed Gaim but I do not like it so much. So, I switched back to Kopete and unmerged Gaim.
If someone is aware of this setting or feature, Please let us know.
