All,
It has been quite a while since I went through a gentoo install. I have run into a snag.
Attempting Stage 1 using the Universal CD 2004.3 r1
I have copied the source to the distfiles folder as noted in the document. I get the point where it wants a bootstrap.sh. The bootstrap.sh does not exist. Can someone point me in the right direction? I have followed the instructions but they seem to be catered for network installations.

just to make sure it's not something that you missed (I know I've mistyped something before)..could you put the exact commands you were doing from a few lines before the bootstrapping step up to the bootstrapping step? _________________ while(true) {self.input(sugar);} |
