gnome-session freezing

I just finished installing gentoo for the first time (longtime RH user).
I have gnome-session 2.8.1 and it continuissly freezes.
It just displays this line and thats it:
SESSION_MANAGER=local/beynish:/tmp/.ICE-unix/15861

I tried removing my .gconf* and .gnome* folders, but that didn't work.

I have never seen this problem before, so any type of help would be greatly aprpriciated.

Oh, it seems that no 'gnome' app is willing to run such as nautilus and gnome-panel, yet they ran well beforehand (not all of gnome was finished yet so I ran theme seperatly) and something made them stop(?).
