I just finished installing gentoo for the first time (longtime RH user).
I have gnome-session 2.8.1 and it continuissly freezes.
It just displays this line and thats it:
SESSION_MANAGER=local/beynish:/tmp/.ICE-unix/15861
I tried removing my .gconf* and .gnome* folders, but that didn't work.
I have never seen this problem before, so any type of help would be greatly aprpriciated. |

Oh, it seems that no 'gnome' app is willing to run such as nautilus and gnome-panel, yet they ran well beforehand (not all of gnome was finished yet so I ran theme seperatly) and something made them stop(?). |
