FTP Server

I'd like to be able to FTP into my Linux box from my Windows Machine, or any other machine for that matter, and allow other users to do the same thing, can someone tell me how to go about setting that up, or at least directing me to where I can find out?

You have to install a FTP server. I'm using ProFTPd server, which is pretty simple to configure. If you need something more secure, you can try vsftpd , maybe.
