I have two hard drives in my box, one with my OSes for dual booting (Gentoo and Win XP), the second with several FAT32 partitions for storage. I had created a wallpaper (jpg file) that I wanted to use on my XP desktop, so I did a simple copy (cp mywallpaper.jpg /mnt/shared). It went through, no errors, next line for a command. Booting back into windows, the computer gets to the Windows loading screen with that obnoxious bar fluttering across the window, and when you would expect the logon screen, the computer randomly reboots. Randomly grabbing for straws, I get a recovery console up in windows and delete the wallpaper from the shared partition. Reboot, and windows loads normally...
Not really a gentoo problem, but any insight that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. _________________ Gentoo nublet :/
