salve, buon anno a tutti.
gdesklet non mi funziona, mi da questo errore:
| Code: | Starting gdesklets-daemon...
Cannot establish connection to daemon: timeout!
|
quando faccio partire: gdesklets
come risolvere?
premetto: vado di fretta visto che tra poco devo andare via x il week end, quindi non ho avuto il tempo di spulciare nei vecchi messaggi |

lo faccio partire cosi' e mi dice quello, assieme alla finestra di gnome che mi dice "The application gDesklets has quit unexpectly!"
ps: nota il prompt, ti ricorda nulla?

che user usi?
a me da lo stesso errore se lo faccio partire da root, con utenti "normali" invece nessun problema |

Ai tempi in cui le usavo io, bisognava lanciare prima il demone, semplicemente con:
e poi per ogni desklet bisognava fare:

Immagino che ora la sequenza giusta sia:

# gdesklets open /path/to/gdesklet.display |
