OK the title pretty much explains it. I'm running ~x86 and I have 2.6.10-r1. Everything up to date. Now if I have alsasound script on boot runlevel AS SUGGESTED by the devs and in the handbook, restoring the mixer settings ALWAYS fails. YET, if I move it to the default runlevel, everything gets loaded just fine and the restoring of the levels is ok. Any thoughts?

Same problem here. It was not always that way; I'm not sure when that happened exactly either, but I guess that was after some 'baselayout' update.
No clue how to solve this. |
