I noticed that your supposed to include MMX and SSE Use flags when you want multimedia support, which I have not done. As it stands now, my video playback tends to studder at times. Might these flags help? _________________ Git has obsoleted SVN.

AFAIK. they do make a difference speedwise.
I have MMX, MMX2 SSE, SSE2 in my USE flags (which is supported by my processor ofcourse ) |

Okay. xine-lib is recompiling now. Do I need to recompile anything else?
EDIT: I see a bunch of things listed next to "flags." Are there USE flags for all of those? _________________ Git has obsoleted SVN.

To me, I'm curious about whether mmx is required when we have sse/sse2. I'm uncertain, myself. |

FYI. The current list of use flags is available in your machines portage
directory as well
Code: |
/usr/portage/profiles/use.desc
/usr/portage/profiles/use.local.desc
