Hallo,
ich habe das Problem das der Konqueror beim Surfen extrem langsam ist. Es dauert teilweise 10 Sekunden und länger bis er mit dem Laden der Seite anfängt, und das passiert bei allen Seiten. Die Suche im Forum ergab das es wohl ein Problem mit der DNS Auflösung sein könnte, aber ich finde den Fehler nicht.
Meine /etc/hosts:

127.0.0.1 localhost.meinnetzwerk localhost
192.168.168.100 meine
/etc/resolv.conf:
domain meinnetzwerk
nameserver 217.5.99.105
nameserver 194.25.2.129
Die Netzwerkaddresse ist per Hand konfiguriert, DHCP ist abgeschalten.
Hat jemand eine Idee wos hier haken könnte?

Der erste DNS Server reagiert nicht auf ein ping. Soll das so? |

Der erste DNS Server war der Fehler, danke. Die beiden waren die, welche mein DSL Router vom Provider (T-Online)erhalten und in seine Config eingetragen hatte. Ich habe den ersten nun aus der resolv.conf entfernt, und mein Konqueror rennt wieder.

dein konqueror sollte noch schneller rennen, wenn du einen anderen dnsserver nehmen würdest.
"194.25.2.129" ist der notfall-dnsserver, den man irgndwie immer als 2ten
bekommt , den alle benutzen, die nicht weiter wissen und der folglich nicht gerade der schnellste ist.
falls du dir die server nicht automatisch zukommen lassen willst, guck mal hier rein

Danke für den Tipp. Hab gleich mal vorbeigeschaut und den Server von Stuttgart eingetragen.
