Hello,

I have a FSC Primergy TX100 S2 with a LSI Logic Embedded
Serial ATA RAID with own BIOS. I can use the bios to setup
the RAID and it show me one Logical Drive.

But is that controller a real hardware RAID? Which driver I
have to use? Or is only a software RAID possible?

Thanks,
Tom

I read somewhere recently that the LSI SATA uses the same driver/chipset as the SCSI, so I would suggest the "New LSI" driver that's included in the kernel. Compile it into the kernel, not modular.
