I have gentoo 2004.3, Xorg 6.8, gnome 2.8, kde 3.3.1, gdm 2.6.0.6.
I want to choose between gnome and kde from gdm.
How can I add kde in gdm sessions?
I read the gdm online manual, but I cannot understand....

thanks

You need to put kde.desktop in /etc/X11/dm/Sessions

EDIT:
"locate kde.desktop" finds the file for you, or use the following:
Code:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Type=XSession
Exec=startkde
TryExec=startkde
Name=KDE
Comment=The K Desktop Environment. A powerful Open Source graphical desktop environment
