|
Hi,
am trying to run htdig on my opteron with kv 2.6.9
Linux vina 2.6.9-gentoo-r9 #3 SMP Fri Dec 17 04:03:08 Local time zone must be set--see zic x86_64 AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 848 AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
but htdig cant write its DB files:
Code: |
# htdig -vv -s -a -c /etc/htdig/htdig.conf
htdig: Unable to open/create document database '/mnt/loop/db/db.docdb.work'
|
The File is created by htdig:
Code: |
# ls -l /mnt/loop/db/
total 0
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jan 7 10:47 db.docdb.work
|
on google i found some infos about 64Bit and HTdig issuses, but nothing concret.
any ideas ... any running htdigs on 2.6.9 and opteron, which use flags, CC Flags?

Anybody a solution for this? |

Same here. I've just copied htdig, htmerge, rundig.... from my old 32bit installation over the 64bit files and it works now.
Although, not my prefered solution |

| I would to Gentoo first. They will probably direct it towards htdig if necessary. |

I've just downloaded htdig 3.2.0b6 and compiled it from sources (./configure, make, sudo make install), then I've made symlinks to acces htdig, htmerge and htsearch.
kde-helpcenter and kdevelop documentation index works fine for me. _________________ Arkadiusz Kołacz
