Salve
ho un problema - ormai da un po' di tempo - con man. Mi scuso perche' non ricordo cosa posso aver fatto per combinare questo casino.
Sostanzialmente: a volte (solo per alcune pagine) quando richiamo man mi chiede se voglio cancellare delle pagine dicendo che sono corrotte.
La stessa pagina di man, pero', da root viene vista benissimo. Il punto e' che alcune pagine vanno e altre no.

Non riesco a capire perche'  Avete qualche idea? Io ora guardo i permessi ma non credo (perche' alcune si e altre no?) pero' non mi viene in mente altro.

Parli di /usr/man/man1/locate.1.gz oppure della pagina formattate in cache /var/cache/man/cat1/locate.1.bz2

Prima mi riferivo a quella in /var/cache, ma comunque vedo che anche /usr/man/man1/locate.1.gz (che e' un link 777 a slocate) e' leggibile da tutti.
In ogni caso aveva ragione zuglio, per ora sembra andare mettendo l'utente nel gruppo man (mi scuso, credevo di averlo gia invece ho controllato e non c'era... magari un etc-update non mergiato bene). Se mi da problemi (ma non credo) posto qui

Eh gia, neanche io lo avevo (cio' nonostante in man dovrebbe esserci comunque, teoricamente).
Onestamente non so spiegarmelo visto che le pagine di man comunque erano leggibili da tutti...
