[edit]
I just found out that this can be done. I currently have things working in clone mode.

Hello,
I have a h/w question :
Can one dual head Radeon card (7500) emit two entirely different signals (for two monitos) where the Hsync and Vsync parameters of the two signals are different (OR) does the card just emit the same signal for both monitors and then depending on the monitor, this signal corresponds to some optimal resolution (like 1024x768 for one while 1280x960 for the other)
My issue is that I have one monitor whose specs are :
Hsync : 72 (fixed)
Vsync : 70-140
and the other whose specs are :
Hsync : 30 - 70
Vsync : 50 - 160
Thus, there is no overlap in the Hsync range. Is it possible to drive both these monitors from one dual head card or will I be needing two different cards?
Thanks!!
(I have ATI RADEON 7500. Can give more specs if needed) |
