Hey all. As the subject sugguests, I'm having a little bit of a problem getting my USB flash drive/key working (if it matters, its a 256 MB kingston datatraveler). Rather than ramble on, let me give you some dmesg output:

at which point, i think the kernel gave up trying to load the thing (although the access light is still flickering like mad). I'm not really sure what this means -- does anyone have any ideas? |

Oh, and i forgot to mention, i have tried this with other drives, so i'm pretty sure it's not the drive (which works fine on other boxes, linux, mac, and otherwise.) |

I have a similar problem with my USB drive, I think it started with switching to 2.6.10-rcx. Might be a flaw in some new USB code. pam_usb won't work anymore, but I can mount the drive though. I have similar messages in dmesg. |

Yeah, i'm still running the 2.6.9-r9 kernel I pulled off portage. |
