Hi all,
I had to reinstall my root partition as my file structure got screwed up (probably my fault).
Anyway, one thing I can't seem to find again is biff, i.e., the program which tells you in console mode whether you have any email.
I tried emerging biff and xbiff, but had no luck. A emerge -s biff didn't turn up anything either.
Best,

In most shells there is a variable that can be set. In csh it's called mail. I don't use bash, but I'd imagine it would have something similar. Also lxbiff is kind of cool ... it flashes the caps lock light on the keyboard when you have new mail! _________________ The free market gave me gonorrhea. |

Well, I thought it wasn't working, but it turns out that it just is, so, again, I'm happy .
The flashing caps lock light sounds neat, I'll look into it, thanks.
