Hallo zusammen,
ich kann meinen USB-Stick einfach nicht mounten 
Vielleicht könnt Ihr mir weiterhelfen?
Mein Board ist ein ASUS P5A-B. Das System ist auf UDEV
umgestellt undfunktioniert auch soweit mit den anderen
Geräten im Rechner, /dev/sda1 existiert, Kernel = 2.6.10.
Vorgegangen bin ich nach dem HOWTO_Udev.html und
LinuxHelp_UDEVPrimer.html
Folgendes sollte lt. UDEV-Howto beim Booten zu erkennen

Zudem existiert /dev/sdaX nicht und der Stick einfach nicht geladen.
Habt einen Tipp, woran es liegen kann? Der selbe Stick
wird auf einem identischen Gentoo-System (gleiche SW aber
andere HW) problemlos erkannt.

| Was meinst du mit "erkannt werden"? Wenn der Kernel erkennt, dass das Gerät eingesteckt ist und /dev/sda1 existiert, müsste "mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/usbstick" doch funktionieren. Was für 'ne Ausgabe kriegst du denn da? Oder meinst du vielleicht, das HAL bspw. das Gerät nicht automatisch einhängt? |

Da ist mir in den ersten Zeilen meiner Frage ein Fehler
unterlaufen -> /dev/sdaX gibt es nicht und wird auch nicht
dynamisch erzeugt.
Meiner Meinung nach erkennt der Kernel auch das Anstecken
des Sticks nicht (siehe den Logs), daher dieFrage im Forum.

also ich habe ein ähnliches problem und mir mit beholfen. ist sicher nicht der beabsichtigte weg, aber nachdem fdisk dann die partition auf dem stick gelistet hat wurde sie hier von udev auch angelegt.
