I am trying to setup an dhcp in gentoo, i am folowing this howto http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/home-router-howto.xml , but is not working.

The probleem is DHCP is not starting i get the foflowing message:

Starting DHCPD ...... [!!]

I posted a topic e few days a go, but no one could help, any way i think i know what couse this probleem. I think i have to install dnsmasg, but i kant.

When i try emrge dnsmasg, i get this:

emerge there are no abuilds to satisfy "dnsmasg".

what thuse it meens? do i have to download somethink?

It means that it can't find a package in portage called dnsmasg. IF you were however to try dnsmasq you might find that works.
