I recently put the most recent version of zsnes on my computer so I could play star ocean (the graphics pack was not working) anyway it seemed to work fine, but the next day zsnes had about half the framerate it once did (about 35 insted of 60) with a little bit higher if I don't use fullscreen. there was no drain on the cpu, so I figured it might be the new version and I decided to go to the old one to check. Well, it won't compile it, or rather link. It claimes to not be able to find libGL as in:
Code: |
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4/../../../../i386-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lGL
|
but everything else seems to work. I do have libGL and drm and all that good stuff working. So I am stumped, but this is very annoying. By the way here is where my libGL is:
Code: |
# locate libGL.so
/usr/lib/libGL.so.1
/usr/lib/opengl/xorg-x11/lib/libGL.so.1
/usr/lib/opengl/xorg-x11/lib/libGL.so.1.2
/usr/lib/opengl/xorg-x11/lib/libGL.so
/usr/lib/libGL.so

If anyone knows of a way to speed up zsnes or get the old version to compile I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks |
