Hi All,
I just got gentoo onto my lappie, now I just need the wlan working..
I have a Netgear WT511T 802.11g card. Pcmcia support is compiled into the kernel, as is wireless lan support. Inserting the card doesn't result in any ath0 interface though.
If I do iwconfig it says no wireless extensions found on eth0 (naturally) and doesnt list an ath0.
How can I get the card recognised..? It does work with Linux cause Novell Linux desktop worked fine with it. _________________ --[ UltraSPARC ]--

maybe its a WG511T ?? and not WT511T?? if its a WG511T you need madwifi to install! thats the driver for this chip!! also you can have a look at dmesg output!!! |
