I got the following message after doing a compile.
command:
genkernel all
Error: failed to compile the "modules" taget...
If you need more information where would I find the exact problems in the genkernel.log? Thanks.
Hope someone has encountered this before.

I've never used genkernel, sorry.
I can suggest to configure and compile by hands your kernel, it isnt so difficult, there are quite a few of howto's on this topic.
It can be an issue of your kernel, try updating to the lastest, and give (possibly) more informations on your system and on the errors you get.
