I've been performing some tests with Reiser4 and NFS. I'm using kernel 2.6.8.1-mm4 with the Reiser patch. At first the testing went very well. Lately there have been issues where the NFS server would stop responding. Mount requests are logged on the server as
Code: | dogbert rpc.mountd: getfh failed: Operation not permitted |
Clients report the server as either not responding or permission denied. The server is still responsive, apart from the NFS portion. Still I must reboot the machine before NFS returns to normal (restarting the NFS services has no affect).
I know the marrage of Reiser4 and Linux is far from consumated (Does anyone know when that will take place?). Is this a bug that is yet to be fixed? _________________ The true guru is a teacher.

Tried 2.6.10-mm2 yet? It's in portage as mm-sources-2.6.10-r2. Works fine for me. _________________ Military Commissions Act of 2006: http://tinyurl.com/jrcto
