I've been emerging system after bootstrapping from stage 1, and every time I get

and then some more errors about ide failed opcode and hda: dma timeouts and such.
I reboot and get a little further (2 or 3 pkgs emerged) and it happens again. I've tried booting noapci but it doesn't make a difference.
Where should I begin? I'd rather not boot 20 more times just to finish the installation.
(Pentium3, 128mb, reiserfs for root fs...) |
