ltsp running apps locally

Has anyone successfully gotten KDE apps to run locally on a terminal using LTSP?

I have the terminals working correctly, and I have it so that I can run apps locally, but I cannot get kphone working (which is the ONLY app that I really want working).

I cannot get it to compile statically, and it doesn't play well w/ the libpthreads installed for the terminals / fs...

I've tried downgrading glibc, I've tried building libqt-mt statically (I thought I had this one done finally, but I got the same error), I've tried everything I can think of...

If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate advice.
