X config files

I just emerged a newer version of xorg and now I have a new file
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Jan 11 02:47 ._cfg0000_xfree86 -> xorg
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 Jan 11 02:47 ._cfg0000_xfree86.lst -> xorg.lst

There were also a bunch of other config files with the ._cfg prefix that I replaced with etc-update. What do I do with the links above? Do I just rename them and remove the ._cfg prefix, so I'd have xfree86 -> xorg and xfree86.lst -> xorg.lst?
