Here the case: I have WRQ Reflection terminal client (on a Windows box) conecting to a Unix server that runs XAL/concord via VT2220 emulation. The setings in the Reflection client actually are to run VT400-7 emulation and identify to the host as a VT220 client. I just tried Kermit and ran a VT320 emulation and actually got pretty close with it (but no sugar), I guess it need some color configuration options provided via 400-7 emulator.
Now, beeing a Linux user I would really like to do this directly from my own terminal and not Vmware (runing WXP). I hear that this might be accomplished with a regular xterm or other linux based terminals and some script to set up some parameters.... but how? and if this is not the case, what else can I do to? |
