Code:

root@carlo-cam /home/pioniere # dmesg
usb 4-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 5
usb 4-5: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 4-5: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 4-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 6
usb 4-5: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 4-5: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 4-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 7
usb 4-5: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 4-5: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 4-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 8
usb 4-5: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 4-5: device descriptor read/64, error -71

non capisco come mai, eppure ho caricato i giusti moduli
Code:

root@carlo-cam /usr/src/linux # lsmod | grep usb
usbhid                 28864  0
usbcore                97016  5 usbhid,ohci_hcd,ehci_hcd,uhci_hcd

Ho un kernel versione:
Code:
2.6.10-gentoo-r4

Code:

usb 4-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 40
usb 4-5: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 4-5: device descriptor read/64, error -71

Mi manca altro nel kernel?

Nel kernel ho messo:
Code:
CONFIG_USB_STORAGE=y
# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DEBUG is not set
# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_RW_DETECT is not set
# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DATAFAB is not set
# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_FREECOM is not set
# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_ISD200 is not set
# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DPCM is not set
# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_HP8200e is not set
# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_SDDR09 is not set
# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_SDDR55 is not set
# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_JUMPSHOT is not set

A proposito... hai hotplug?

E sul fisso funziona in ehci come su altri 4 portatili ^^
