my fonts in kword appear as blocks when i try to type anything
in a kword document
speadsheet works ok
running gentoo 1.4 kernel 2.4.22 vanilla
theres one other post with a similar prob with no resolution
as the original poster reinstalled which is not an option for me
everything else ....kde 3.1.4 etc is working great. kword is the only
app exhibhiting this wierd behaviour..
anyone have any ideas ? |

| I remember having had a similar problem, but for me all of KDE was affected. I solved it by re-emerging qt. Don't know if it'll work for you, but it might be worth a shot. |

re-emerged koffice & kword still has that annoying problem
giving up for now ...cant really be bothered to do yet another install |
