bueno, hoy me decidí a actualizar mi gentoo:

por cierto he estado mirando el sysvinit en packages.gentoo.org y he visto que todas las versiones son unstable, a ver si alguien sabe como arreglarlo :)

(al principio compile todo como unstable :/)

Deberias buscar cual es el programa que te bloquea el paquete. Por lo que veo el sysvinit son un paquete de instrucciones para crear procesos de inicio (del estilo reboot, halt, ...). Igual crea dependencia con los scripts originales...

No tiene ninguna dependencia extranya.... no se a que se debe....


P.D: no me funciona muy bien el teclado del portatil y por eso no hay acentos, no creais que es mi ortografia habitual.

Hace tiempo me pasó lo mismo, el sistema se volvia inestable y algunos paquetes no compilaban, el compañero RAPUL me abrio los ojos ya que el modo stable de gentoo se actualiza bastante a menudo y no es necesario usar el modo unstable.
Basicamente hay que cambiar en el fichero /etc/make.conf lo siguiente:

Te llevará algun tiempo que el sistema se recupere ya que lo que vas a hacer es un downgrade de muchos paquetes que tienes instalados, pero el resultado es una mejora en estabilidad bastante notable.
Despues si quieres compilar algun paquete unstable te basta con poner:
ACCEP_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge paquete_inestable, esto ultimo procura hacerlo pocas veces.
Supongo que es eso lo que preguntas.
EDITADO:
Si haces cambios en make.conf ejecuta emerge sync para que empiece a poner los paquetes que necesitas en el portage.
