text only IM client?

anyone know of any text only IM clients i can run through a xterm that can connect to AIM?

been looking through sourceforge and freshmeat but havent found any yet. thanks

centericq or naim . I prefer naim, both a little confusing at first, but they get easier.

I only used centericq of those two, but can say it's a very good client. I prefer it over the gui clients..

Naim over centericq: because I could never figure out center ICQ. Naim seemed simple, esp if you've used IRC

I'm using pork currently but are there any console aim clients that do utf-8? I've seen screenies of centericq doing it but I could never get it working.
