I've tried an install on this machine a couple times now. The auto compile of the kernel with genkernel is failing. The process is stopping and no initrd is being created.
I don't really know what I'm looking at here, could anyone point me in the right direction. The script written in the genkernel log at the end of the genkernel compile is bellow.
Code: | aty128fb.c:1066: warning: 'aty128_set_crt_eneble' defined but not uesd
aty128fb.c:1076: warning: 'aty128_set_crt_eneble' defined but not uesd

I really don't want to do a manual compile at the moment, it scares me. I've done one successfull Gentoo install on another machine and don't quite feel confident enough to dive into a manual kernel compile. If any one can convince me otherwise I might try a manual.
Thanks in advance. |
