Hi there!
First I tried to emerge mencoder but it wasn't there. Ok I found out, that it's included in mplayer.
But if I try to use it, it only says command not found.
Is it because I'm running 64bit or do I have to do something else to get it working?
mplayer runs fine. But mencoder... _________________ Es ist schön und warm

Did you put 'encode' in your USE flags? _________________ AMD Athlon XP 2600+; 512M RAM;

man, that's a trick!
a couple of tiny version upgrades and a new use flag sneaks in. we've got to find a better way to be warned. my old comfortable make.conf keeps getting out of step with all the new-fangled use flags.
thanks hauser.
