|
|
I recently upgraded KDE to 3.0.5a and immediately noticed a little glitch I haven't seen before. whenever I start kcontrol and go to the theme control and click on any of the installed themes, a requester pops up, saying that the theme doesn't contain a .themerc or .theme file, which they do. If I run kcontrol from a terminal window, the message "sh: cd: /root/.kde3/share/apps/ktememgr/Work/: No such file or directory" appears. Of course I then create that directory, which kcontrol promptly deletes the next time I click on a theme. The problem exists on both machines.
Has anyone else stumbled across the issue? Any solutions? |

Which version were you using before?
Why are you still using old versions of KDE. I do not suggest to install KDE 3.2, I have not done it and it is very likely that I won't, but you could install KDE 3.1.5. It is stable and it works fine.
I am sorry, I have no solution to your problem. It looks like a bug and you could submit a bug report to KDE. |
