While i don't believe we need a fourm for "general linux," an "applications" form might be nice to ask questions that are not really related to installing stuff, but about stuff like how to use mysql the way gentoo installed it or such things. Maybe not necessarally all strictly gentoo-related, but nevertheless not tooooo far from gentoo-related? Just food for thought  |

Good idea, i like that! I will of course have many questions about the portage versions of many applications, and it would make sense to keep that stuff to a separate board.
