Ich habe ein kleines Problem mit Programmen die strftime für Zeitanzeige benutzen. Genauergesagt mit xclock.
Ich starte xclock mit | Code: | | xclock -strftime %c -digital |
Laut Manpage ist %c "The preferred date and time representation for the current locale."
Wenn ich mir meine locales anzeigen lasse bekomme ich | Code: | $ locale
LANG=de_DE@euro
LC_CTYPE="de_DE@euro"
LC_NUMERIC="de_DE@euro"
LC_TIME="de_DE@euro"
LC_COLLATE="de_DE@euro"
LC_MONETARY="de_DE@euro"
LC_MESSAGES="de_DE@euro"
LC_PAPER="de_DE@euro"
LC_NAME="de_DE@euro"
LC_ADDRESS="de_DE@euro"

Trotzdem spricht xclock mit mir Englisch. Also ich bekomme z.b. folgende Ausgabe | Code: | | Sun Feb 20 16:36:37 2005 |
Wie kann ich xclock klarmachen, welche Sprache es zu sprechen hat?

Huch,
wenn ich | Code: | | xclock -strftime %c -digital |
eingebe, dann kommt bei mir nur:. Also gar nichts kommt da, nur ein kleines rechteckiges weisses fenster ohne Inhalt.
