I've set up an ltsp server on my linux machine and would like to find a disk that would enable me to boot up my wifes pc.
the only hitch is that the network card is actually a usb wireless adapter (prism 2.5)
does anyone know how I could get a boot disc (or cd) to activate usb and then boot off it?
I cuold use knoppix and then chroot, but I'm trying to make it as automatic as possible..
help please ;-)

I have a prism2.5 wifi USB adapter.

Let me be the first to say: Good Luck.

2.4 series kernel will see the hardware, but after hours of hacks, nothing.

USB wifi 2.5 prism will NOT work on 2.6 series kernels (yet, AFAIK).

Once again, good luck.

I've got it working with some hacked driversunder gentoo.. but I dunno if there is a way to get them and hotplug onto a rom-o-matic disk..
I suppose hotplug requires a kernel to run so remote booting a kernel isn't such a great idea ;-)
