Hi
I have a problem with my md-raid. The raid itself works perfectly. The problem is that the raid is just a block device without a partition table. I need the raid to appear as a harddisk with a partition table, eg. /dev/md as some kind of virtual harddisk and /dev/md1 as the raid itself.
Rebuilding the raid is not an option because there's a lot of data on it and i can't move it anywhere else.
Is there some trick using a loop device to hold the partition table or do you have any other suggestions? |
