Come si abilita l'emulazione SCSI? nel kernel è ablitata ma i programmi per masterizzare lo richiedono  ( si deve fare altro?

Che errore hai? Hai compilato built-in o come modulo? Se come built-in prova a ricompilare come modulo, se invece hai fatto come modulo prova a caricare i moduli manualmente (e ricorda che dovresti passare l'opportuno parametro al kernel... qualcosa tipo hdc=ide-scsi).
E comunque dovresti poter masterizzare anche con la normale interfaccia ATAPI.

| ecco mancava hdc=ide-scsi nel lilo.conf grazie, si masterizzava anche come atapi solo che mi diceva che ci accedde più lentamente e che potrebbe avere errori nella masterizzazione |

Se metti il dma sulla periferica non hai nessunissimo problema
